Chuseok is three public holidays on the lunar calendar, when Koreans head home for ancestral rites, and it decides what closes and how you travel. Its real length varies, since a Chuseok day on a Sunday earns a substitute and one on a Saturday doesn't, and small shops set their own closing days.
